Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Solways collects on solwayske.com, why we collect it and the choices you have. We aim to follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Solways Business Development & Experiential Agency (“Solways”, “we”) operates solwayske.com. You can reach us at solwaysltd@gmail.com or through our contact page.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a consultation, you enter details such as your name, email address, phone number, business details and the service you are interested in. We use this to respond to your request, send you an invoice or confirmation, and arrange the consultation. The booking form and its emails are processed by our server and by our email delivery provider, Brevo.
If you email us, we keep your message and address so that we can reply.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read, how long visits last and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We use this to improve our content. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Our calculators work in your browser. The salary figures you type into them are not sent to us or stored.
Cookies
Cookies are small files saved on your device. Ours and our partners’ cookies help the site work, measure visits and, if we show advertising, deliver and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of the site.
Advertising
We may show advertisements on this site, including ads served by Google and other third-party vendors. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, such as our hosting providers (Netlify and Render), our email delivery provider (Brevo) and Google (Analytics, and advertising if enabled). They may process information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting who can access our records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to certain uses. To do so, email solwaysltd@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Our guides link to other websites, such as government services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
